History & Influences

Our inspiration to create the "Kids & Cameras Project" is mainly the result & influence & inspiring work of many humanitarian journalists and photographers, including  Zana Briski, a humanitarian, photographer and journalist.  Her documentary film "Born Into Brothels" & resulting "Non-Profit Organization" dedicated to raising awareness about child prostitution and women's issues.  After I volunteered for this organization by creating a gallery show- custom picture framing the artwork of children for a fund-raiser to raise money for a school in India for the "discarded" children of prostitutes living in Calcutta.  Please enjoy the videos here to see the inspiration for my "Kids & Cameras Project".
